🔘Questions and Answers
🔘Book publishing
Book Publishing has changed alot bck in the days people published books and start selling them.
Price of publishing + their gain is added on each book before selling.
Now things have changed a bit with self publishing u can publish a book without printing it.
Yes without printing it😏
Who ever buys the book prints his/her own copy.
🔘Why Amazon will pay you
Amazon is one of the biggest E-commerce website with thousands of visitors daily!
These people come to shop not just books but clothes, bags and many others.
Under Amazon there is something called Amazon kdp (KINDLE DIRECT PUBLISHING)
Where publishers can publish books and get paid when someone buys!
The the main aim of posting books on Amazon is not just for sales but the mad traffic/visitors that goes on Amazon each day.
I'm sure you know a website that has many people coming in every time makes money?
So this is why Amazon will pay you 👇🏼
Imagine you create a wonderful Christmas journal and many people starts buying it and people refere their friends to get the normal from u
Amazon gets traffic and money
Ask me how
Lol ok lemme explain
U post a Christmas journal of $8
Amazon takes $ for printing cost
You earn $ per 1 journal
From that $ Amazon takes for printing cost they have a % as gain.
So Amazon kdp will pay you for bringing them money.
And the books you are posting are under your name o
Lemme give another example
We all know jumia we must have all gotten something from jumia
Jumia has different registered sellers
I even tried registering as a seller one time on jumia I couldn't meet up d requirements.
So back to jumia
You buy a pair of sneaker on jumia
Both jumia and the real seller of that sneakers spilt the money.
Why?
The real seller has sneakers but not enough buyers but
Jumia has audience/customers/buyers
So for the seller posting his sneakers on jumia and sharing profits with jumia is a win win.
Same goes Amazon.
